The Rhubarb Root is a plant vegetable, with edible stalks that are rich in fiber. They are also rich in several B-complex vitamins such as folates, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B-6 (pyridoxine), thiamin, and pantothenic acid. It also carries more Vitamin A than any other green variety. Vitamin A is a powerful natural anti-oxidant which is required by the body for maintaining integrity of skin and mucus membranes. Cleans heavy metals, kills bacteria, aids in cleanse and strengthen the digestive tract. It is also  an essential vitamin for healthy eye-sight. It can limit neuronal damage in the brain, even to the point of Alzheimer's prevention, may help protect from lung and oral cavity cancers. Reports show that it helps with bone health and growth due to the Vitamin K that is also contained in the Rhubarb Root. Note: Its stalks also contain healthy levels of minerals like iron, copper, calcium, potassium, and phosphorus. However, most of these minerals do not absorb into the body as they undergo chelation into insoluble complexes by oxalic acid, which then excreted out.  Use: Teas, used in Chelation capsules.
